Reading all the 5/5 star reviews, makes this feel redundant, so instead take this as your sign to call now.

This husband and wife duo expertly and professionally handled my appointment from the first phone call to the parting handshake.

Sarah was the lead as she was the first person I made contact with. I had a situation that was not an emergency, but still urgent, that would require them to come after hours. Even knowing that it wasn’t an emergency, Sarah still did everything in her power to get a technician out to me as soon as possible. She was extremely communicative, and her lines were open past business hours in order to accommodate me and my needs. Not only was she welcoming, but she was patient, understanding of my situation, and eager to help. So I want to give her a special thank you for facilitating the appointment during her personal time.

Then the closer came in the form of Justin, who picked up right where his wife left off with professionalism and experience, but also the patience to explain everything that he was going do to tackle my situation. He is a wealth of both experience and knowledge, and genuinely just a good person - type that you feel comfortable with being in your home and respecting your space, while treating your house better than he would treat his own.

I had an unusual toilet installation that required the existing water shut off valve to be moved to a different location. I had a tight timeframe due to scheduling conflicts that had him come out on a Saturday to complete the job. The initial plan would’ve had me also do drywall repair, painting, and then have the toilet installed after that had all been completed. Justin, masterfully, found a way to move my waterline and have it installed without the need for any of that extra work to be done. I didn’t call him for the toilet installation, but he did his job so efficiently that he had the time to install my toilet afterwards, which saved me a good four days worth of other plumbers and handyman coming out. And to top it all off, he waived the toilet installation fee!!! Which would have been very expensive because this was all overtime work!

Justin is an amazing plumber and an even more amazing human being. His passion for his career shines through in his work, and is only overshadowed by his love for his family. He’s driven by doing the job the right way and giving the customer what they need while also doing right by them. To find a tradesmen this dedicated to his craft after everything he’s been through in his journey, is a rarity I don’t think you should take lightly. Therefore I wholeheartedly recommend Sarah and Justin for all of your plumbing needs. Thank you both so much.

I just had a great experience working with The Plumbing Doctor. Justin came in to fix an issue we were having with an old urinal in the bathroom at my church. He gave me all the details I needed about our pipes and the valve we needed, etc., enabling me to make what I feel was the right choice - to remove it! He got it out of there and capped everything off nicely and cleaned up. He didn't recommend the most expensive solution. He gave me the facts and I was able to decide for myself. Also, Sarah in the office is a perfect communicator and worked with me before and after the weekend to get the timing perfect. Over all the experience was top notch. Thank you!

Emergency Plumbing Problems

Emergency Plumbing Problems We Handle in Beaverton

Plumbing emergencies come in many forms. Our team can help diagnose and repair a range of urgent plumbing issues affecting homes throughout Beaverton.

Burst or Broken Pipes

A burst pipe can release a large amount of water in a short period of time.

Pipe failures may happen because of aging materials, corrosion, damaged fittings, excessive pressure, or other plumbing system problems. If a pipe bursts, shutting off the water supply as quickly as possible can help reduce damage while you arrange professional repair.

Our plumbers can locate the damaged section, assess the condition of the surrounding plumbing, and recommend the appropriate repair.

Major Water Leaks

Not every leak is an emergency, but an active leak that is spreading water through your home should be addressed quickly.

Water may appear:

  • Under sinks
  • Behind walls
  • Around plumbing fixtures
  • Near appliances
  • From ceilings
  • Around supply lines
  • Near the water heater

If you cannot identify or stop the source, professional water leak detection and repair in Beaverton can help locate the problem and prevent additional damage.

Sewer Backups

Sewage backing up into a toilet, shower, bathtub, or floor drain is one of the clearest signs that you may need emergency plumbing service.

A sewer backup can create serious sanitation concerns and may indicate a blockage or problem deeper in the drainage system.

If you notice sewage entering your home, avoid using affected plumbing fixtures and contact a plumber as soon as possible.

Severe Drain Backups

A slow drain is usually not an emergency.

However, when several drains stop working at the same time or wastewater begins backing up into sinks, tubs, or showers, the problem may involve a larger section of your drainage system.

Professional drain repair and installation in Beaverton can help identify the cause and restore proper drainage.

Overflowing Toilets

An overflowing toilet can quickly damage floors and nearby surfaces.

If the toilet continues to overflow after you stop using it, turn off the water supply valve if you can safely access it.

Recurring toilet overflows may be caused by a severe blockage, drain problem, or another issue within the plumbing system that needs professional attention.

Water Heater Emergencies

A water heater problem can become urgent when the unit is actively leaking, releasing a large amount of water, or showing signs of serious failure.

Warning signs may include:

  • Water collecting around the tank
  • A rapidly growing leak
  • Unusual noises
  • Sudden loss of hot water
  • Visible damage around connections or valves

If water is actively leaking from your water heater, addressing the issue quickly can help protect the surrounding area.

Broken Faucets and Plumbing Fixtures

A damaged faucet or fixture can become an emergency when the water will not shut off or a supply connection fails.

A small drip may be able to wait, but a fixture releasing water continuously should be repaired quickly.

Our faucet repair services in Beaverton can help resolve damaged fixtures, faulty connections, and other problems causing uncontrolled water flow.

Sump Pump Problems

A sump pump failure can become urgent when water is entering a basement, crawlspace, or lower level of your home.

If the pump stops working during heavy rainfall or when groundwater levels are high, water can accumulate quickly.

Professional sump pump repair in Beaverton can help determine whether the pump can be repaired or whether replacement is the better option.

Protect Your Home

What to Do During a Plumbing Emergency

A few immediate steps can help limit damage while you arrange professional plumbing service.

1. Shut Off the Water

If water is actively leaking, locate the nearest shutoff valve.

For problems involving a single fixture, you may be able to shut off the water directly at that fixture.

If the leak is severe or you cannot isolate the source, turning off the home’s main water supply may be necessary.

2. Stay Away From Electrical Hazards

Water and electricity can create a dangerous situation.

If flooding is near outlets, wiring, appliances, or electrical equipment, avoid entering standing water or touching electrical devices.

Only turn off electricity if you can safely reach the appropriate breaker without coming into contact with water.

3. Contain the Water if It Is Safe

If possible, use towels, buckets, or containers to reduce the spread of water.

Move furniture, rugs, electronics, and other valuable belongings away from the affected area if you can do so safely.

4. Stop Using Affected Plumbing Fixtures

If you are dealing with a sewer backup, severe drain blockage, or repeated overflow, avoid using toilets, sinks, showers, dishwashers, and washing machines until the system has been evaluated.

Continuing to use the plumbing system may make the backup worse.

5. Call an Emergency Plumber

Explain what you are seeing, where the problem is located, and whether you have been able to shut off the water.

The more information you can provide, the easier it is for the plumber to understand the situation before arriving.
